Technical Requirements

What are the system requirements for the courses?

You need a modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge), a stable internet connection, and speakers or headphones for audio content. Courses are accessible on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

What if I experience technical issues during a course?

Your progress is automatically saved. If you encounter issues, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache. If the problem persists, submit a support ticket from the Support page or use the help button within the course player.

Continuing Education (CE)

How are CE hours calculated?

CE hours are based on the total instructional time of the course, including lessons, activities, and assessments. One CE equals 10 contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience. ChildWise Learning is an IACET Accredited Provider.

When do I receive my CE certificate?

Your certificate is generated immediately upon successful completion of the final exam with a passing score of 80% or higher. You can download the PDF certificate from your dashboard or the course completion screen.

How can I verify a certificate?

Each certificate has a unique certificate number. Certificates can be verified through our public verification system, accessible via the URL printed on each certificate.

Assessments & Grading

How many attempts do I get on quizzes and exams?

You have up to 3 attempts for each quiz and the final exam. The system will show you how many attempts you have remaining. Your highest score across all attempts is recorded.

What is the passing score?

The passing score for all assessments is 80%. You must pass the final exam to receive your certificate of completion and CE credit.

Do I need to complete all lessons before taking the final exam?

Yes. You must complete all course modules and lessons before the final exam becomes available. This ensures you have engaged with all the instructional content.

Accessibility & Accommodations

What accessibility features are available?

Our platform is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Features include keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, adjustable text sizes, and high-contrast support. Audio content includes transcripts.

How do I request an accommodation?

Visit the Accommodations page from the Support section to submit a formal accommodation request. You can also use the help button within the course player. Our team reviews all requests within 2 business days.

What types of accommodations are available?

We offer accommodations for visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive needs. This may include extended time on assessments, alternative content formats, assistive technology support, or other modifications based on individual needs.

Account & Support

How do I reset my password?

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. You'll receive an email with a secure link to reset your password. The link expires after 1 hour.

How do I contact support?

You can submit a support ticket from the Support page after logging in. You can also use the help button available within the course player. Our support team typically responds within 1 business day.

Can I get a transcript of all my completed courses?

Yes. Visit the Transcript page from your dashboard to view your cumulative CE history and download an official transcript PDF.
